20-02-25 Glitter has come to us from a breeder, ready to find her forever home. She is extremely worried to find herself here at the moment and is just so shut down. She is very weary of being handled at the moment and if pushed out of her shell may choose to make the wrong decision. Glitter will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and who are willing to take things slowly and at her pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and take her under their wing, helping her to learn that human hands aren't so scary after all. With lots of love and kindness, Glitter will start to come out of her shell and will begin to realise how wonderful her life can be now and it will be so worth it when you see her tail wag for the first time or when she first takes a treat from your hand. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and picks up new skills like house training. She has never worn a lead or harness before and this will be completely overwhelming at first and she will need to practice wearing these around the home and garden until she has enough confidence to venture outside. Sweet Glitter really deserves to find a home of her own, where she can take things at her own pace and where she can be so loved and cherished forever. Glitter has a travel document.
