Rhea is a beautiful and gentle lady. When Rhea first arrived here she was so scared, she barely ate and would run away from everyone. She is still quite a nervous girl, but has made so much progress and I'm so, so proud of her.
Rhea will now allow you to approach her and give her fusses, put her harness and lead on her and even let you pick her up if you need to. She still has a way to go regarding confidence and trusting humans but she is getting there, some dogs just take a bit longer to get there than others and that is absolutely OK.
Rhea now eats really well, and her harness training has come along in leaps and bounds. Although she can still be a bit wary of certain things on a walk, she walks very well.
She gets along well with her kennel friends and is currently kenneled with four other dogs. Please don't pass her by just because she's not the most confident dog in the world. In the right home and with the right people/person I really do think that she'll come out of her shell and show off her true personality, she just needs to be given that chance.
She's just waiting in kennels as her buddies get fostered or adopted before her and it's so sad to see her little face knowing she's going to be left behind again. So please, if you think you could give her her forever home and the life she truly deserves then please do come and meet her, kennel life is no life for Rhea.
