  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog savvy older children who respect my space and let me settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I could be an only dog or live with a male dog, I don't mind cats either.

  • House and garden requirements

I have good recall however I will still need a secure garden to keep me safe.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day and plenty of cuddle time, I love people.

  • Training needs

I walk on a lead well and I used to be fully housetrained! I may just been reminding.

  • Medical issues

Check my write up, I have dermatitis and a few other quirks! I'm itching to meet you!

Hella is one of those dogs who feels like sunshine in a small, snorting, wiggly package. She’s come to us from a breeder, but unlike many others, she’s known what it is to live in a home and be part of a family. And perhaps that’s why the shift into rescue has hit her just that little bit harder, she knows what she’s missing, and she longs to have it back.

Since arriving, we’ve seen all the layers of this brilliant little Frenchie start to unfold. She is clever, playful, and full of personality, her eyes are always sparkling with mischief or affection, and she brings energy to every corner of the yard. She has excellent recall and is very responsive, proving how much she wants to connect with her people.

Hella adores human company and soaks up cuddles like they’re the best thing in the world. And to her, they probably are. She’s happiest in your lap, nudging for just one more scratch behind the ears, and would thrive in a home where she can be someone’s shadow and best friend.

She can be a little bossy with other female dogs, so we feel she’d be happiest with a calm male dog companion or as the only dog in a home where she won’t be short of love and attention. She’s lived with children before and could do so again, ideally older and dog-savvy ones, and she’s even shared space with cats, provided they’re used to dogs.

Hella has a few quirks, some skin being treated for dermatitis, and a slightly fatty muzzle with teeth set a little further back, but none of these things hold her back. She doesn’t know she’s anything but perfect.

This girl is waiting for someone to see her for who she is: loving, loyal, a little clownish, and completely devoted. She’s ready to give her whole heart to the right person.

Hella's Diary

  • Today I had the pleasure of spending time with Hella, and what an absolute dream she is!

We made the most of the cool morning, enjoying our time in the yard playing fetch and charging around like a little looney tune. As the weather’s started to heat up, we’ve taken our play sessions into the kennel where it’s much cooler, but Hella’s enthusiasm hasn’t dropped a bit.

This wonderful little lady is full of life and character. With every glance, it feels like she’s having a whole conversation with you, her expressions are that full of personality.

Hella adores people and is obsessed with cuddles. I’m starting to think she may never get tired of them! If you’re looking for a new family member who wants to be at the heart of everything, she’ll happily take center stage. This little spark of life will flip your world upside down, in the best way and quickly become the missing piece of your puzzle.

  • Hella is a fantastic Frenchie who is very ready to meet you! She has come to us from a breeder; however, she has been raised in a home environment and is said to be fully house-trained (although she may need a slight reminder). Hella also has excellent recall in the field and responds well to her name, she really is a clever girl!

She is a loving and friendly girl who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. She can be a little bossy with female dogs, but could live with male dogs.

Hella is confident enough to be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her. We are told Hella has lived with children and so we would consider homing her with older, dog savvy children and she doesn't mind cats as long as they are dog-savvy.

She is the sweetest girl who just LOVES to have fuss and attention and cannot wait to be in her forever home. She has a slightly fatty muzzle and her teeth are a little set back, but our vet will assess this and they don't cause her any issues. She is currently being treated for some dermatitis on her skin.
