  • Medical issues

I have cataracts in my left eye and am already spayed!

Picalo is a delightful little girl who originally came to us from a breeder. She was adopted for a short time but was sadly returned through no fault of her own, as her adopters were concerned about her diagnosed cataracts in her left eye. After a thorough assessment, it was determined that Picalo’s cataract likely resulted from past trauma. Her left eye is now cloudy and undergoing cataract changes, but this doesn’t hold her back! She’s an otherwise wonderful lady who is letting her playful side shine and who is so ready to find a loving home! Picalo is currently in foster with both male and female dogs of a similar size; Picalo would thrive in a home with a kind resident dog to help build her confidence and provide reassurance as she settles in. She’s making great progress with house training and is almost a pro! She also walks beautifully on a lead, especially alongside other dogs who can help guide her. Picalo is still learning about the big world and can understandably feel a little overwhelmed at times. She’ll need a patient, adult only home where she can continue to grow, find her personality, and let it shine. She’s also a little speed racer and would absolutely love a secure garden where she can zoom around with her canine friends! Loyal and affectionate, Picalo is sure to be a devoted companion to the lucky person who welcomes her into their heart and home.
