Griff

Griff is a special boy who has come to us to find his forever home. He has arrived to us with some scarring on his face after being attacked by another dogs. He was rescued by a kind-hearted stranger who made sure he received the veterinary care he needed and was by his side every step of the way. She loved him deeply, and now he’s hoping to find that same love in his forever home
Griff is currently in foster with his kennel mummy and is blossoming. He adores his foster siblings and would love to have another dog in his forever home to help him continue to build his confidence and share in his playful spirit. While he’s confident and could manage on his own, he truly thrives with a four-legged friend just as long as it is not the feline kind!
Griff craves affection and would do well in a home with gentle, dog-savvy children who understand that he needs a little patience as he settles in. Loud noises and too much activity can make him nervous, so a calm and loving environment would be best. He’s learning the ways of home life, working on his house training but may have a few accidents in his new home as he settles in. Griff’s favorite part of the day? His lunchtime walks with his foster mum! He dreams of continuing this routine in his forever home, happily trotting by your side, taking in the world around him, and maybe even sneaking a treat or two along the way.
Sadly, around a week after arriving with us, Giff suffered a seizure lasting just over a minute. He recovered well from it and just wanted to snuggle with his foster mum for comfort. He has been back to our vets for a checkup and they have advised monitoring him for now and should he have any further seizures then they would look at investigating further and trialing medication.
This sweet boy meets the world with a wagging tail and a heart full of hope. Now, all he needs is a place to call home and a family to love him the way he’s always deserved.
