Rhym is a beautiful young Pomsky who came to us from a breeder after being unsold. When she first arrived, she was very worried and it was clear she hadn’t had much socialisation in her short life. She was unsure about being handled and would prefer to run away from you rather than approach you

Since her arrival, Rhym has made wonderful progress and has since moved to a foster home, where she has come on in leaps and bounds! Her confidence has grown hugely, and although she can still be a little flighty at times, she will now actively seek out affection from the people she knows and trusts.

Rhym will be looking for a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and truly relies on them for comfort and reassurance.

Before moving to her foster home, Rhym had never lived in a home, but she is adjusting to home life incredibly well. She is learning all about home life and new skills such as house training. She is now house trained and sleeps quietly overnight in her crate.

Rhym has also learned how to walk nicely on a lead and harness and now loves going out for walks and adventures. She would love to find an active home where she can be kept both mentally and physically stimulated and with adopters who will enjoy taking her on adventures.

Behind Rhym’s striking Pomsky eyes is a gentle soul just waiting to find her special someone. With time, patience, and understanding, she will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.

Rhym's Diary

  • Rhym has come on leaps and bounds in foster. Her confidence has grown hugely, although still a bit flighty, she will now actively seek touch and attention from people she knows and trusts.

Rhym learned to walk on a lead in record time, she LOVES going out. I have mainly walked her over the fields and quiet roads. This girl is active, curious and super smart. She will need owners that enjoy taking her on adventures.

Rhym loves other dogs and doesn’t yet believe me when I tell her that not all other dogs we meet want to be her friends! She definitely needs another dog in her new home. She has seen the cat and not reacted. If a cat owner wished to adopt her I would test this further.

Rhym is house trained and sleeps cleanly and quietly in her crate overnight. She is crate trained and happy to be in there if we have to go out for short periods.

I have bathed and groomed Rhym, she was a reluctant participant but behaved beautifully, her nature is so good. I hope Rhym’s people find her soon so she can settle in and become the cheeky puppy she was always meant to be.

  • Today was a little brighter and just right for making one of our kennel beauties feel truly special. Rhym, our stunning Pomsky, enjoyed a playdate in the sunshine with her kennel mom, filled with all the things she loves most, fresh air and her absolute favorite treat, liver paste! Rhym soaked up every second of attention, bouncing through the area, pausing only to lean in for some paste. Even though she can be cautious, give her time as she’s a true heart stealer, affectionate, and so ready to bond with her forever human. Behind those piercing Pomsky eyes is a loyal soul just waiting for her person.

  • Rhym is one of a litter of Pomsky puppies who have come to us from a breeder as they were unsold. Rhym is a sweet girl but is quite touch sensitive at the moment and is very unsure about being touched or handled and clearly hasn't had much socialisation in her short life. She is a very timid girl who would much prefer to flee and run away rather than approach us at the moment, so we will need a lot of love and TLC in her new home. With time, love and patience she will start to settle in and will blossom into the most wonderful friend.

Rhym will be looking for a calm and quiet home, with no young children and with adopters who can offer her lots of love and kindness. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her to settle in. Rhym has never lived in a home before, so will need kindness and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training. She has also never worn a harness or walked on a lead before and so will need a gentle introduction to this. Once she gains enough confidence, we think she will enjoy walks and would love to find an active home with adopters who will keep her both physically and mentally stimulated.
