Floki is a guy bursting with love for us humans, he's so affectionate and loves to cuddle up and snuggle or roll over for a belly rub. His happy demeanor is infectious, he's always happy and smiling, he just seems full of optimism, and he dances around full of joy, you can't help but smile.

Floki is kennelled with a similar size female, but doesn't really take an interest in other dogs. Flokis only priorities in life are people, food and tennis balls! He would make an excellent only dog and a brilliant companion.

As we were told there was an incident between him and a smaller dog prior to arrival at Many Tears, we have been teaching him to walk with a muzzle. We have assessed him closely but he has shown no signs of being reactive with other dogs on walks here, but doesn't want to share his kennel with male dogs.

Floki loves his walks and will walk without pulling much. He loves nothing more than to fetch a tennis ball for you. Do you have room in your home for this golden boy and all of the love he will give?

Floki is a stunning boy who has come to us after spending most of his life in a home. Sadly, he found himself back with his breeder following an incident involving a smaller dog. Floki has the confidence to be homed as an only dog in the right circumstance and with adopters who are around most of the time, or with a kind female resident dog that is his size or bigger.

Floki will need a confident and experienced owner who can help keep him safe when out and about, and who understands his need for structure and guidance. Floki will need to be kept on a lead when he is out and about, unless he is in a secure area without other dogs. He walks well on a lead and, having lived in a home before, we believe he is house-trained, though he may need a little patience while he adjusts to his new environment.

He thrives on attention and would love a home that can offer him fun adventures, plenty of walks, and the chance to be someone’s very best friend. Floki is looking for an adult-only home where he can settle into a calm and consistent routine.
