Bobbi the Braveheart: A Little Lion Full of Love

Bobbi is a young miniature Poodle who came to us from a breeder after being unsold as a pup. With his fluffy mane of curls, he looks a bit like a tiny lion—but his personality is all fun, friendship, and affection. Bobbi has been living in a foster home where he’s proven himself to be an absolutely fantastic little dog.

Although he had a few seizures when he first arrived, Bobbi has been doing brilliantly on his epilepsy medication and hasn’t had any further episodes. He’ll need regular check-ups with the vet to make sure he stays well, and adopters should be aware that his condition will be classed as a pre-existing one, which won't be covered by standard pet insurance. Thankfully, his condition hasn’t slowed him down one bit, Bobbi is loving life, enjoying outings, and walking beautifully on the lead.

This sweet boy is brilliant with other animals, including cats, and truly adores the company of other dogs. He invites everyone to play and thrives with canine companionship, so we will be looking for a home where there is at least one other friendly dog to help him continue to blossom. Bobbi is also great with children of all ages and could happily live in a family home with kind and dog-savvy youngsters.

Like many dogs from breeders, Bobbi hadn’t lived in a home before coming to us, so everything has been new and unfamiliar. He’s already making great progress with house training and home life thanks to his fosterers, but he will still need patient adopters who can support him as he continues to adjust.

Bobbi has a beautiful curly coat that will need regular grooming to keep it in good condition and tangle-free.

We’re so proud of how far Bobbi has come. He’s truly one of a kind and will make a loving, joyful companion to a family ready to offer him the care and affection he deserves.

Bobbi's Diary

  • Bobbi is an absolutely fantastic dog. Since starting his medication for epilepsy, he hasn’t had any seizures and is doing really well in his foster home. He loves going on outings and enjoys his walks on the lead.

Bobbi gets along brilliantly with every animal on the planet, he’s excellent with cats and adores other dogs, often inviting them to play. Because of this, we’d love to see him rehomed with at least one other friendly dog.

He’s also wonderful with children of all ages and is just the best boy through and through.

  • Bobbi has come to us from a breeder as he was unsold as a pup. He is a fun loving boy who is trying to disguise himself as a lion with his mane of fur around his head! He will need a family who are prepared to take him to the groomers regularly to keep his coat in good and tangle free condition.

Bobbi is a bouncy and well rounded boy who would fit into most families. We would consider homing him with older kind and gentle dog savvy children and although he would love and benefit from a home where there was another dog to play with, therefore, we believe that Bobbi will need another dog in the home to look to as a playmate as well as a companion as he settles in.

Bobbi has never lived in a home so this will be new and possibly a little scary for him at first and he will need to learn about house training and lead walking etc With adopters who really understand Bobbi just needs time and patience he will become a really lovely companion.

Bobbi has had a few seizures since being with us and is now on medication to control the seizures. This has not seemed to slow him down but he will be consistent check ups with the vets!

    Bobbi has a travel document.
