Pukka Pie is an absolute angel of a dog – as sweet and gentle as they come. She’s happiest curled up on your lap and would happily stay there all day if she could! She's currently learning to walk on a harness, and as a natural follower, we don't think it'll take her long to get the hang of it. Pukka Pie would thrive in almost any loving family environment. She’s far too special to be in kennels – it’s time this lovely girl found a home of her own.

A Sweetheart with So Much Love to Give
Pukka Pie is a 7-year-old Bichon Frise who has come to us from a breeder. After a life without the comforts of a home, she is now ready to find the love and care she has always deserved. Pukka Pie has never lived in a home before, so she will need kind adopters who can help her learn about house training, daily routines, and what it means to be part of a family. She is so loving towards people that she could be very happy as an only dog or live with other dogs, as long as she has plenty of human company and affection.
This beautiful girl has truly started to shine. She can walk nicely on the lead and absolutely loves to greet people, often asking sweetly for fuss and cuddles. Her gentle nature makes her a joy to spend time with, and she would thrive in a calm, caring home where she can be close to her people.
Pukka Pie has been cat tested and was very calm and respectful, so could live with a feline friend given careful introductions. Although she is mostly deaf, she is learning to navigate the world with confidence and now copes well even in busier places. She enjoys getting out and about, especially when it means meeting new people who are happy to give her some love.
She also has some ongoing health considerations. Our vets have noted that she has narrowed ear canals which will need regular cleaning to help prevent discomfort or infection. She has shown signs of allergies and is currently on medication to help manage any itching. During her spay, two mammary lumps were removed, and she also had four teeth extracted. These will be considered pre-existing conditions and won't be covered by standard pet insurance policies.

Pukka Pie has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for the loving forever home she so deeply deserves. She’s a gorgeous but timid girl who is currently feeling quite overwhelmed by her new surroundings, which is understandable. After spending some time with her, we feel like she has very limited hearing or may be completely deaf.
This sweet girl is especially worried in busier environments, but when taken somewhere calm and quiet, she starts to relax and shows glimpses of her lovely little personality. With the right home and gentle guidance, we know Pukka Pie will begin to blossom.
Pukka Pie will need a calm and quiet home where she can be given lots of love, time, and TLC as she settles in. It’s clear to us that there’s a truly special dog behind her worried eyes, she just needs the chance to build her confidence and feel safe.
Pukka Pie will need to be homed with another kind and confident resident dog who can be her friend and help show her the ropes of home life. As she has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who can help her learn house training, lead walking, and all the other important things that come with being a cherished family member.
