Polka Dot

Polka Dot came to us from a breeder, unsure of the world and what life beyond a kennel might hold. But from the moment she arrived, there was something about her, soft, unassuming, quietly hopeful, that touched every heart she met.
Though she’s still learning what it means to live in a home, Polka Dot is already showing glimpses of the beautiful companion she’s becoming. She walks so sweetly on a lead, takes comfort in the company of her kennel friends, and never causes a fuss at mealtimes. But what she truly loves, what she quietly longs for, is simply to be close to her person. While the others race and play, Polka Dot stays close, gently leaning in, as if to say, “I choose you.”
She will happily place her front paws in your lap for a cuddle, soaking up every gentle word and kind touch as if it’s the most precious thing in the world. She’s still a little unsure in new situations, but she’s come so far already. Her confidence continues to grow every day, and we know she’ll blossom even more in a home with a kind, resident dog to show her the ropes and loving adopters to guide her gently through life’s new experiences.
Polka Dot is still learning about house training and home comforts, but her gentle heart and loving nature are already firmly in place. She doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land, a patient heart to help her grow, and someone to love her for the quiet, loyal companion she is.
So many beagles wait far too long. Please don’t let that be Polka Dot’s story. She’s ready for someone to love, and to be loved, completely, in return.
