  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have some hormonal alopecia, but this should grow back with time.

30-05-25 Beautiful Tikka has come to us from a breeder and is now in search of her forever home. She is a very worried girl who is currently quite shut down and overwhelmed by the world around her. She doesn’t yet understand that human hands can be kind and is worried about being handled and will try to hide herself away when approached.

She will be looking for a calm, quiet, adult only home with adopters who have previous experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She will need time, patience, and understanding to begin to feel safe and start to trust.

It is essential that there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home. A friendly canine companion will be a great source of comfort and support for Tikka, helping her to navigate this strange new world and settle in to her new life.

Tikka has never lived in a home before, so she will need help learning about house training and home life. She will also need gentle encouragement as she learns to walk on a lead and explore life beyond the safety of home.

Tikka is a precious soul who has so much potential, but she needs the right environment to help her come out of her shell. If you have the experience and compassion to help her begin her journey, she could be the most rewarding companion you’ll ever meet.

She currently has some hormonal alopecia, she has been spayed, and the fur should grow back with time.
