02-06-25 Beautiful Jackie has come to us from the Ad Lancram Kill Shelter in Romania in search of her forever home and a fresh start in the UK. This little girl has already been on quite a journey, but despite everything she’s been through, she remains full of hope and has so much love to give.

Jackie was lucky enough to find a foster home in Romania before travelling to us. In foster, she received the love and care she'd never known before and started to learn all about home life. At first, she was understandably very scared, but with time, patience, and kindness, she slowly began to blossom. Her confidence grew, and her true, sweet nature begun to shine through.

Now that she’s arrived at Many Tears, Jackie is feeling a little nervous again, which is to be expected after such a big change, but she is trying her best to be brave. With gentle reassurance and lots of TLC, we know she will soon begin to feel safe and come out of her shell once more.

Jackie is a very special girl who enjoys affection and is so very sweet. Once she knows you, she adores being petted and enjoys a fuss. She gets along well with other dogs and we were told by her previous fosterer that she was very sociable with other dogs.

Jackie can already walk well on a lead and harness and will love gentle adventures in quiet areas with her new family by her side. She will need to build up her confidence in quiet areas before venturing to any busier places.

She will be looking for a calm, quiet and understanding home with adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace. Jackie will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel secure and continue building her confidence. Although she has lived in a foster home in Romania, she may need to learn about house training and will need kindness and understanding as she settles into home life.

Her ideal home will be one filled with patience, kindness, and the promise of a lifetime of love. If you have room in your heart and home for a little soul who just wants to belong, Jackie could be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Jackie has an undershot jaw, but this doesn't cause her any issues and just adds to her adorably charm with her little toothy smile! She has received negative test results for Brucella Canis, Leishmania and Giardia. She also has a passport.
