Velvet (know as Teddy in foster) is a bright little pup, he already answers to his name, will sit on command, and can walk on a harness and lead in the garden. He is being carried on walks to get him used to the outside world and will need gentle socialisation with traffic and street noise etc once his vaccinations are complete.
He comes running when we call his name but he does find being picked up a little worrying however once he is in your arms he settles straight away and is easy to handle. He loves other dogs and often snuggles with the dogs here and would be happy either with one other dog or in a multi dog household. Teddy will be the most loving loyal little dog and is ready for his forever family.
Having assessed him over the past week we think he could live with dog savvy teenagers he's a super little chap who has made really good progress in foster. His ears are now clean and I understand the haematoma doesn't require any treatment.
