  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I will be neutered before finding my forever home.

30-06-25 Rider has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is a worried boy who is finding everything quite overwhelming at the moment. It’s clear that he hasn’t experienced much of the world yet, so all the sights and sounds are very new and a bit frightening for him. Rider is a little unsure about being handled right now and will need patient, loving adopters who can offer him plenty of TLC as he learns that human hands can be kind and gentle. With time and understanding, we know he will start to grow in confidence.

One thing Rider truly adores is the company of his kennel friends. He relies on them for reassurance and comfort, and his little personality starts to shine when he is by their side. Because of this, Rider must be homed where there is already a kind and confident resident dog who can help him feel safe and show him how wonderful life can be.

He has never lived in a home before, so Rider will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. His adopters will need to be prepared to take things at his pace and help him adjust to life in a home gently and patiently.

With love and the guidance of a canine friend, Rider will blossom into a happy, loyal companion who will bring so much joy to his forever family, so please don't leave him waiting.

Rider has an undershot jaw, but this doesn't seem to bother him and our vets have also noted that his right hind leg will need to be monitored as it feels unstable. However as he is young this may improve with gentle exercise as he builds muscle, but should he need any further investigations into this in the future, it would not be coverable by insurance.
