  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I'd love a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to play in while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I’ve never lived in a home, so I need to learn housetraining and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I have a Grade 1 Heart Murmur and low grade luxating patellas.

02-07-25 Gem is a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has come to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. She is an incredibly happy, curious, and lovely girl who truly brightens up any room she’s in.

Gem will come up to you with no hesitation. She’s a friendly little soul, but she really adores the company of other dogs and finds great comfort in having canine friends around her. Because of this, she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her feel settled and secure.

As Gem has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she adjusts to her new life. She’ll be learning all about house training and the routines of home life, so understanding adopters are a must.

We believe Gem would be fine to live with children, as long as they are sensible and respectful of her need for space and quiet time while she settles in. Gem is a real treasure, and she is going to love home life once she finds her feet. Anyone would be lucky to welcome her into their family.

Gem has come to us with us a Grade 1 heart murmur and low grade luxating patellas in both legs.
