  • Human family requirements

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn lead walking and house manners.

  • Medical issues

I’ve started my vaccinations and will be spayed before adoption.

02-07-25 Chickpea has come to us from a breeder and is a somewhat worried little girl, but we believe that’s simply because she’s struggling with kennel life. There’s a softness about her that tells us she’s known love before, perhaps she was a pet once and now she’s desperately longing to feel that comfort again.

She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who we think would much rather be snuggled up on someone’s lap than in a noisy kennel. Chickpea is ready for a quiet life filled with cuddles, kindness, and calm, where she can relax and feel safe once more.

As she’s never properly lived in a home, she will need patient adopters who can help her learn house training and lead walking. She’ll also need a kind resident dog in the home, a gentle role model she can look to for reassurance and companionship as she finds her feet. Chickpea will need a calm and loving adult only come she can settle into at her own pace as as continues to learn about love and kindness.

Chickpea is an absolute cutie pie who will flourish in a loving home with people who understand her gentle nature. With time, patience, and lots of love, she will blossom into the most devoted little friend.
