I can live with dog-savvy children who understand I need time to settle.

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog but I haven't met cats yet.

I would love to relax in the sun and enjoy a stroll around the garden.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day and plenty of cuddle time.

  • Training needs

I walk well on the lead but will need help with housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I have a small amount of hormonal alopecia but this should go away with time.

02-07-25 Charcoal is an absolutely wonderful lady who has come to us from a breeder to find the loving forever home she truly deserves. She’s a soft, sweet soul with the gentlest nature, and once you take a moment to meet her on her level, she’ll quietly sit in front of you, waiting patiently for a kind fuss. And when you stop? She’ll gently inch closer, hoping for just a little more love.

Charcoal is calm, affectionate, and full of quiet charm. She’s a truly special girl who just wants to be close to someone who makes her feel safe. She has the confidence to be the only dog in the home, as long as her adopters are around most of the time to give her the love and attention she craves. She would also be very happy to live with kind, gentle resident dogs who don’t mind sharing the spotlight.

She can be homed with dog-savvy children who understand that she’ll need time and space to settle and once she does, they’ll gain a loyal and loving best friend.

Although Charcoal has never lived in a home before, she’s already walking beautifully on a lead and would love gentle adventures with her new family. She will need patient and understanding adopters to help her learn the basics, including house training, but with kindness and consistency, she will flourish.

Charcoal is simply perfect in every way, she just needs someone to show her that the best is yet to come.

Charcoal has come to us with some hormonal alopecia, but this should go away with time.
