03-07-25 Little Cosmo is a cutie pie through and through, with the most soulful eyes and a heart that just wants to feel safe. He’s come to us from a breeder and, understandably, is feeling quite overwhelmed by all the changes in his world.

Cosmo is a sensitive, gentle soul who finds comfort in the company of his kennel friends. He relies on them for reassurance, and having a familiar face nearby helps him feel that little bit braver. He’s a little touch-sensitive at the moment and still learning that human hands can be kind but with time, patience, and gentle care, we’re already seeing glimmers of the trusting, affectionate boy he’s meant to be.

He will need a kind, calm resident dog in his new home, not just as a companion, but as a guide, someone to show him that the world isn’t so scary and help him build the confidence he needs to bloom.

Cosmo will be best suited to a quiet, adult-only home, where he can settle at his own pace and feel safe as he adjusts to a completely new way of life. He’s never lived in a home before, so he’ll need adopters who are kind and understanding as he learns the ropes, from house training to lead walking. Gentle garden sniffs may be the perfect way to ease him into outdoor life.

This boy may be shy to start with, but for the right person, watching him come out of his shell and start to trust will be one of the most rewarding journeys of all. Cosmo has so much love to give, he just needs someone to believe in him.
