  • Human family requirements

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe but I haven’t met cats yet so I'm not sure

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

Walks are too scary for me yet, maybe some slow garden sniffs will be a good start.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I'm nervous and learning everything from scratch.

  • Medical issues

I’ve started my vaccinations and will be neutered before adoption.

03-07-25 This beautiful boy has the softest eyes and the most tender soul. Chilli Jam has come to us from a breeder and sadly hasn’t had much experience of the world. He's not used to being handled and finds human interaction overwhelming at times. When he feels unsure or frightened, he panics and just wants to escape, you can truly see the fear in his eyes, and it's heartbreaking.

Chilli Jam will need time, patience, and understanding in his new home. He may take longer than some to come around, but for the right person, the moment he starts to trust will be incredibly special and deeply rewarding.

He’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home, where life moves slowly and gently. He will need another confident, calm dog in the home to show him the ropes and help him learn how to relax and just be a dog.

Chilli Jam has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new, from the sounds of a washing machine to learning how to walk on a lead or where to go to the toilet. He’ll need adopters who are patient and kind as he learns these new skills at his own pace. Access to a secure garden for gentle sniffy explorations would be ideal as a first step toward outdoor adventures.

Chilli Jam may be a work in progress, but with the right home and gentle support, we know his sweet personality will begin to shine. He just needs someone willing to see past the fear and believe in the dog he can become.
