  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I'd like to live with another dog or two but I haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I'll need a secure garden while I get used to my new home

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal

  • Training needs

I’ve never lived in a home, so I need to learn housetraining and lead walking

  • Medical issues

My legs aren't symmetrical but that doesn't slow me down!

Celt is a wonderful, friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He’s a sweet and snuggly boy who thrives in the company of other dogs. He would love to live with at least one kind, resident dog. We think Celt may even enjoy living in a home with a few friendly dogs, as he gains a lot of confidence from his kennel friends.

As Celt has never lived in a home before, everything will be very new to him. His adopters will need to be patient, gentle, and committed to helping him learn all about home life, including lead walking, housetraining, and all the sights and sounds of a busy household.

We’ve been told that Celt has lived around children in his past, so we are open to applications from families with sensible, kind children who understand that he may feel a little overwhelmed at first as he adjusts.

With time, love, and reassurance, Celt will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. He’s already showing us what a sweet, cuddly boy he is, and he will make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Celt has been checked over by our vets who have noticed that his back legs are not symmetrical but this does not seem to cause him any pain or discomfort at this time and he will continue to be monitored.
