14-07-25 This lovely little girl is Chica. She has come into our care through absolutely no fault of her own, as sadly her previous owner was working full time and could no longer give her the time and attention she so deserves.

Chica has settled straight into her foster home where she is proving to be an absolute sweetheart. She is a very affectionate, gentle girl who adores the company of other dogs and would really love to have a kind resident dog in her forever home to be her friend and playmate. She is also living happily with a cat in her foster home, so she could live with a dog savvy feline companion too.

Chica does experience some separation anxiety and will need adopters who are home most of the time and can very gradually build up the time she can be left alone, but having another dog in her new home to keep her company may help with this too. Chica is also known to be a bit of an escape artist, so she will need a very secure garden with fencing she cannot scale or squeeze through. Her adopters will need to take care not to leave her unsupervised in the garden or leave windows open where she might try to slip out.

Chica is a happy, confident girl who loves going for walks and adventures. She can be strong on the lead, so her new family will need to work on this with her. She is a loyal little dog who wants to be part of everything and will make the most wonderful companion.

Chica is very clever, she knows how to sit and will come when called. She has lived in a home before, so she is house trained, although she may need a little time to adjust to new routines. She sleeps happily all night on her fosterers bed.

If you feel you can offer Chica the loving, secure home she needs, along with plenty of time, patience, and understanding, please consider applying to adopt her. She has so much love to give and will be the most devoted friend.
