Meet Wonder - A Loving and Affectionate Companion

Wonder is a beautiful and affectionate girl who is looking for a loving home where she can truly thrive. Originally adopted after coming from a breeder, she has sadly found herself back in rescue due to her owner’s ill health. Now, she’s hoping to find a forever home where she will be cherished and spoiled as she deserves.

This sweet girl is incredibly loving—once she trusts you, she will gently bury her head in your lap, happily soaking up all the affection she can get. She can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to form strong bonds. Wonder enjoys her walks, she is house-trained, walks well on the lead, and enjoys the company of both people and other dogs.

While in a foster home, Wonder proved to be a wonderful guest. She got along well with the resident dogs, cats, and even rabbits! She settled quickly into home life, loved curling up on the sofa, and was happy to sleep through the night with her canine companions. She may initially bark when visitors arrive but settles down quickly, and while she can be a little more wary of men, she soon warms up with gentle encouragement.

Wonder has some mild health considerations—she is cross-eyed and has slightly impaired vision, though this does not hold her back at all. She has had two possible absence seizures in the past but has not had one for over a year and is currently not on any medication. She has also made a full recovery from past surgery to remove a corn cob she had swallowed.

Wonder’s Ideal Home:

  • A loving, patient adopter who will give her plenty of affection.
  • Another gentle dog in the home to provide companionship.
  • Owners who are home most of the time.
  • A home that will help with her separation anxiety.

Wonder is a truly special girl with so much love to give. Could you be the one to offer her the happy and secure home she dreams of?
