I need a calm home with no children to help me get used to home life.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven’t been on walks yet but I am curious and enjoy being in the yard with my pals

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn lead walking and house manners.

22-07-25 Orange is one of several dogs rescued from a home in heartbreaking conditions. Their elderly owner, struggling with mental health issues, was overwhelmed, and the home had become dirty and unmanageable. Though not intentionally mistreated, the dogs went without proper care. Now safe with us, they're finally experiencing love and stability.

Orange is a sweet girl who can be a little timid in new environments, but she finds comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs. Because of this, she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and show her the ropes, especially with important skills like house training and lead walking, as we are unsure if she has learnt these in her previous home.

She’s looking for a calm, adult-only home with patient, understanding adopters who can give her the space and time she needs to settle in at her own pace.

With gentle encouragement and the right support, Orange has so much potential to blossom into a loyal and loving friend. We’re sure that, in the right home, this lovely girl will truly shine.

At the moment she is quite underweight, but with good nutrition she should start to fill out.

We are currently accepting applications for Orange, however, please note that she will not be ready to go to her new home just yet. She still requires further assessment and treatment from our veterinary team to ensure she is in the best possible health before adoption.
