Beluga has been with us a few months now and hasn’t had any applications and I can’t understand why. She is beautiful inside and out and truly has such a sweet soul that I know is itching to come out. She will follow me everywhere around the kennel and In the normal yards even down the big yard she walks by my side, when I crouch down to fuss her she will back off but then comes back and allows me to fuss her, she’s even been soo brave and has given me face kisses. I can see Beluga is trying so hard to trust me and watching her take those extra steps every day is absolutely heartwarming! Beluga thrives off a routine and knows when it’s time for food, walks etc… you’ll hear her howling like a typical husky and it’s soo lovely to see her confidence shine through. Beluga is quite nervous of new people and it takes her a while to warm up to you but once she has you see a completely different side to her. Beluga walks well on a harness but can become a little scatty in areas she’s unfamiliar with and passing people she doesn’t know. Beluga seems to pass cats well, although we can do an accurate cat test if an application comes through. She shares toys with her kennel friend and enjoys chewing on some hard bones she also eats well with others. Beluga could be homed with older children who are respectful of her space and can allow her time to adjust to her new environment. She really is a true darling and it’ll be lovely too see her in a home she can call her own.

Meet Beluga – A Gentle Soul Looking for Love
Beluga is a stunning girl with piercing blue eyes and a heart full of potential. Having come from a breeder, she is still learning to trust people and adjust to a world of love and kindness. Initially very nervous, she has been making incredible progress, showing glimpses of the sweet and affectionate dog she longs to be.
Though still a little hand-shy, Beluga now accepts gentle pats from those she trusts. She walks well on a lead and enjoys the company of other dogs, finding comfort and confidence in their presence. Because of this, she will need a home with another resident dog to help her settle and guide her through the transition into family life.
Beluga is a smart girl but will need patience, support, and reassurance as she continues to learn house training, lead walking, and home life routines. She would do best in a calm, experienced, adult-only home or with older children who understand how to respect her space. With time, love, and gentle encouragement, Beluga is sure to blossom into a devoted and happy companion.
If you have a loving home and a kind heart to offer, Beluga could be the perfect match for you.

When I first met Beluga a few weeks ago she was scared and nervous, she would run away and wouldn't come near. This past week however has been a different story. Yes, she's still a bit nervous and wary of new people, but her confidence is growing so much day by day. She has only recently started walking on a harness and she’s picked it up pretty much straight away. I walked her out on the harness for the first time with her kennel buddy, Bruno and she did so well. She can be a little skittish if she gets freaked out by something but that's understandable as she's still learning. Instead of running away from me now she'll allow me to come up to her slowly and say hello and give her a fuss, while in the yard she comes up to me with Bruno and lets me put her lead on no problem. Beluga is doing so well and is learning more all the time, she's a sweet lady. She's slowly learning that we aren't going to hurt her and that we're here to help and keep her safe. Beluga would need a home with a resident dog as they will help her to continue grow in confidence and they'll be a great help and comfort for her should she be feeling overwhelmed or scared. She will also learn house training skills from them too and seeing where they go to the toilet for example should help her to learn faster. She's a beautiful and special girl who would love to feel the comfort and safety of her own forever home and the love and warmth that would be given to her by her forever family. If you think she's the right dog for you then please do come along and meet her, she's had a tough start to life, let the next part be filled with love and happiness and new adventures for her.

Beluga has the sweetest face and a lot of fluff! She has travelled a long way to be here with us. Beluga has come to us from a breeder and she is very nervous and scared on where she finds herself. Beluga has a missing toe on her right foot and this can cause her to limp from time to time. Beluga relies heavily on her kennel friends for support and this means she will need another dog in her new home to help her settle and give her some extra support if she needed it. Beluga is trying her best to understand the kindness of human touch but she is still very shy but easy to handle, we are working hard with her to help her understand that all we want to give her is love. Beluga will hide in her kennel but her and run away from us however she is easy to handle and check over, she has been an angel. Beluga will need an experienced adult only home with previous knowledge of scared dogs to help her settle and learn the ropes of home life, this includes toilet training, lead walking and also getting used to house sounds such as the TV and hoover as she may of never heard these before. We can see in her eyes how much she wants to be loved when given the chance. Beluga has a PETS travel document.
