28-02-25 Caramel is a beautiful girl who has come to us from a breeder ready to find her forever home. She is the most gorgeous girl who has the sweetest temperament. She enjoys a gentle stroke and will show you how happy she is with a little tail wag. After spending just a few minutes with her, she became so much more comfortable around us, so we don't think it will take her too long to come out of her shell in her new home. Caramel will be looking for a home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and help her to settle in. She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. She is a super sweet girl and with love and kindness she is going to truly blossom. Caramel has a travel document. 01-03-25 UPDATE Caramel has visited our vet for a full health check and for her spay, which is when our vet discovered that Caramel is intersex, meaning she has both female and male genitals and organs, although visually presents most similarly to being female. They have advised that she will be able to live a full and normal life but this is something our rehoming team can discuss more in detail with any portential adopters. Caramel has come to us from a breeder in Ireland. Their trip was sponsored by an anonymous and very generous donation to the Gift of Life fundraiser.
