You wouldn't notice it now but Buzz was once a weak and scrawny dog that came to us from a breeder and was in desperate need of basic TLC. Buzz was completely underweight and shut down when he arrived in foster and now, he wraps his paws around and rests his little head on your shoulder for a hug. Buzz was adopted for a few months but proved to be a little too much for the older dog in the home and is now in search of the perfect home for him. Buzz is the most loving, and gentle boy who has started to let his playful side emerge and loves his new toys! He lets you know when he is excited by doing little bounces, and lets you know he loves you by giving you paw taps and cuddles. He is very smart and has learned quickly that the home is a safe place and nothing phases him regarding home appliances or noises. He’s great with other dogs outside but can be a bit bossy around new dogs in the home. This does settle once he is used to them. Buzz would be best suited with a kind yet confident dog(s) to match his character. Because he can be a little bossy he would be perfect with a dog that isn’t too small or too senior to be his companion. Buzz could be homed with older dog-savvy children who will allow him to settle and find his paws in his new home. We are told that Buzz loves his walks everyday, is well behaved in the car, is house clean, and sleeps peacefully through the night.
