Twinkle

Twinkle - the oversized lap dog that wants nothing more than your attention and affection (alright, maybe your food too). Twinkle has come to us from a breeder and exuberates confidence and devotion. Twinkle almost immediately went into foster where she is learning skills that will set her up for success in her future (we are hoping more near than far) forever home! Twinkle is currently in a home with two other resident Bernese that she can't seem to leave alone! She loves all dogs and humans alike and just wants to be apart of a pack, whether it includes two-legged animals or four-legged. Twinkle is a very confident girly and loves her humans, so she could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstance in a home where she would be socialized with other dogs regularly as she absolutely adores having another dog around as a playmate, a companion, or maybe even a snuggle buddy. Now, we know it is impolite to ask a lady her weight, but as you can see, Twinkle is made of a bigger breed. It is quite common for a bigger dog to have some joint discomfort and she has been diagnosed with arthritis which has led to significant muscle wastage in her hind quarters and she is currently on pain relief and supplements to see if this helps her movement. It is likely that she will be on these medications indefinitely to ensure she is always happy and healthy and she is also undergoing physio sessions to help alleviate some of the stiffness. Twinkle is looking for a lap to plop herself in, could that be yours?!
