Anna, who has come to us from a breeder and was once a completely shut down and afraid dog has flourished into an out-going dog and is finally becoming the puppy she never got to be. Just a few months ago it was obvious that Anna had not had much interaction with humans, and if she had it was not a kind interaction. She would dart away as soon as you approached her and was in desperate need of TLC. Now, Anna is more than happy to spend some time at your side in the play yard and always has an eye on the bag of treats her kennel mum keeps close by. She even allowed a gentle trim around her eyes, which may not seem like a challenge for most but for Anna, even the thought of being touched sent her into a panic. Now, she may still be a little skittish when approached, she ultimately submits and allows to be handled. Anna will need a kind resident dog she can look to as she continues to build her confidence and that will teach her about home life and house training as she has never lived in a home before. Anna will need an adult only home with a secure garden that will offer her gentle encouragements and allow her to settle in at her own pace. Anna deserves kindness and compassion and a home that she can call her own. Could you provide this to her?
