Meet Trick – A Gentle Soul in Need of Love
Trick is a sweet, scared lady who has come to us from a breeder, and right now, the world feels a little overwhelming for her. She has a unique underbite, but what stands out most about Trick is her sweet and gentle nature, even in the face of uncertainty.
At the moment, Trick doesn’t fully understand human kindness, and sudden movements can make her uneasy. She will thrive in a calm and patient adult only home with a confident resident dog who can offer her guidance and reassurance. With time, love, and gentle encouragement, she will begin to see that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.
As Trick has never experienced the comforts of a home, she will need patient adopters to help her learn the basics, house training, lead walking, and all the little things that will help her gain confidence in her new life. It is heartbreaking to see how shut down she is, but we know that in the right home, with kindness and understanding, her beautiful personality will shine through.
