Little Vanilla is starting to enjoy home life, she loves to follow me around - especially to the kitchen where she knows she’ll get a little something.
Vanilla absolutely thrives from the company of other dogs and is realising that going out for a walk is fun, it’s taken Vanilla some time to allow us to put a harness on her, now she allows us but it’s the only time we can touch her. She sees the harness and now associates it with going for a walk.
Vanilla is still very nervous of our intentions when approaching her. She will bark as a warning sign and has made the wrong decision a couple of times and given a warning snap, this is purely fear based. Vanilla needs a home that is happy to love her from afar with a female main carer whilst working on her fears and building trust. She’s a beautiful little girl, watching her thrive is an absolute joy

Vanilla the Tiny Treasure Is Ready to Learn What Love Feels Like
Vanilla, affectionately known as Poppy in her foster home, is a delicate 2-year-old Cavapoo who has come to us from a breeder. She’s a tiny little dot of a girl, much smaller than she looks in photos, and full of quiet charm. Although she’s still learning to trust, Vanilla is gently beginning to show her sweet, playful nature and is ready for her next chapter.
Vanilla has been in foster for a couple of months now and is making gentle progress at her own pace. While she’s still unsure about being touched, she absolutely adores being near her fosterers. She waggles her whole body with happiness when she sees them, takes treats from their hands, and will even come up for a little nose bop when they sit on the floor.
She sleeps soundly through the night in her bed downstairs, a spot she’s chosen for herself. While she’s not quite ready to follow her foster family upstairs, she waits at the bottom with a happy dance, clearly wanting to be part of the moment. It’s just going to take a little more time for her to feel safe enough to fully join in.
Vanilla finds great comfort in the company of other dogs and must be homed with at least one playful, confident resident dog who can help her feel safe and teach her about home life. She loves joining in with garden zoomies and playtime when she thinks no one is watching, and she’ll need a doggy companion who welcomes her gentle presence and cuddles.
She would thrive in a calm, patient, adult only home where her main carer is female, as she’s currently more at ease around women. Her adopters will need to support her with house training and settling in to her new home. Like many dogs from her background, everyday sights and sounds such as the TV or hoover may be unfamiliar at first, so she’ll need gentle encouragement as she adjusts.
She has now learned to walk on a lead and harness and is really enjoying it.
Vanilla is a truly special little soul. She’s still learning what it means to be loved, but she’s trying so very hard to be brave. In the right home, with kindness, patience, and the steady paw of a canine friend, she will continue to blossom and become the joyful, affectionate companion she’s meant to be.

Vanilla is a dinky little dot, she’s a small girl although her photos make her appear so much bigger. She’s been in foster with us for around 2 months now and is coming along well. Vanilla is still unsure of our intentions when touching her but absolutely loves our presence. She does her wiggly bum happy dance when she sees us and loves to come and take a treat from me. She’s just not quite confident enough for a stroke or cuddle yet, due to this we’re still working on harness training Vanilla.
Vanilla is a sweet girl who needs a family who will understand her needs and love her from afar whilst building her trust. She’s more than happy to play with toys, follow me into the garden and nose bop me if I’m sat on the floor. Vanilla sleeps all night downstairs on her own in her bed - through choice, we’re trying to encourage her to join us all upstairs but she’s happy to stand at the bottom and show us her happy dance instead of following us up.
Vanilla will need to be homed with a playful dog or multiple dogs who is / are confident to continue showing her the big wide world isn’t scary.

Vanilla has been in foster with us for two weeks now. She’s the sweetest little girl, everything she does it with elegance. Vanilla is still very fearful of being touched, she will take a treat from my hand and is happy to be in our presence as long as it’s from a distance. I’ve seen Vanilla jumping around and playing when we go out and in the garden with the other dogs. Vanilla relies heavily on other dogs and will most definitely need a very kind dog or multiple dogs in her new home who will let her cuddle up with them and gain confidence from.
Vanilla would benefit from a calm home with her main career being female, although she is in foster with a man we’ve noticed she is much more confident and at ease around women.
Vanilla will need a slow and steady introduction to a harness and lead training when she is ready.

This tiny tot is Vanilla and she has come to us from a breeder in Ireland looking for a new life. Vanilla is a friendly but shut down girl however she does get a lot of confidence from her kennel friends and prefers having them around as although she is trying her best to be brave. She will accept a gentle fuss, but at the moment she shakes like a leaf while she is learning what human kindness is. Vanilla is looking for a quiet, calm home, with at least one resident dog to help her settle in and get used to house living as she has never lived in a house before. She will need help with house training and learning to walk on a lead and also be given time to adjusting to sounds she may have never heard before such as the TV and hoover. Vanilla is already showing us how much she wants to be loved. She is just still a little shy, we really hope she isn't waiting too long. Vanilla does have an umbilical hernia which our vet will have a look at when she is spayed. Vanilla has a travel document.
Can live with other dogs
