  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet adult home home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I'm an active breed but still unsure of humans, so a secure garden would be great.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm an active breed, I'm told I will love walks when I become more brave.

  • Training needs

I've never lived in a home before so will need to learn all about house training.

  • Medical issues

I’m fully vaccinated and spayed, ready for my forever home!

Daisy is a beautiful girl who came to us from a breeder, having lived her life outdoors with very little exposure to the kindness or comforts of the world. When she first arrived, she was a very shut-down and frightened little soul, unsure of people, scared of new sounds, and uncertain of how to navigate the world around her. But despite everything, Daisy has been trying her very best and has been an absolute angel with her handlers, allowing gentle touch and handling with quiet trust.

Over the past few weeks, Daisy has made some lovely progress that has really touched our hearts. She now walks on a harness, especially when she has another dog to follow, drawing courage from their presence and taking those first brave steps into the world. Today she reached a special milestone, her first trip to the big play yard! She did so well, quietly taking in her surroundings and enjoying all the new sniffs and scents at her own gentle pace.

Daisy has shown herself to be wonderful with other dogs. She eats beautifully alongside them, takes comfort in their companionship, and learns by watching what they do. She could be homed with another calm, confident dog who can continue to guide her and help her adjust to life in a loving home.

Though she’s still shy, Daisy now comes over for a soft fuss from people she’s learned to trust, small signs of bravery that mean the world to us. She is still learning about life indoors and will need continued support with house training, lead walking, and getting used to everyday household noises.

Daisy would suit a quiet, adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens (15+) who will be patient and gentle with her. She will need a calm environment where she can continue to gain confidence at her own pace. Daisy also has a small scar on her lower right mammary gland, which has been noted and is being monitored by our vet.

Daisy's Diary

  • Since arriving with us, sweet Daisy has been making lovely, steady progress and is beginning to show us just what a gentle and kind soul she truly is. While she is still learning about the world, she now walks beautifully on a harness—especially when she has the reassurance of another dog to follow. Having that calm, confident companion by her side really helps her feel safe and supported.

Today was a big milestone for Daisy, as she ventured down to our large play yard for the very first time. She did ever so well and took it all in her stride. She explored quietly, taking her time to sniff around and take in all the new sights and smells, which she seemed to really enjoy. It was lovely to see her starting to stretch her legs and gain a little more confidence in this new space.

Daisy is very good with other dogs and thrives in their company. She’s polite, gentle, and shares her space—and even her food—very nicely with her canine friends. Once she knows and trusts you, she will come over for a soft, quiet fuss, clearly enjoying the comfort of kind human hands.

We feel Daisy could be homed with older, dog-savvy children aged 15 and above, who will give her the time and patience she needs to continue building her confidence. She’s a sweet, sensitive girl who will flourish in a calm, understanding home where she can continue to grow at her own pace.

Daisy still has a little way to go, but each small step she takes is a big leap forward—and with the right family by her side, we know she’ll blossom beautifully.

  • This pretty girl is Daisy and has come to us from a breeder. She has been kept outside and has never been in a home and is a very shutdown girl at the moment, in need of lots of love and TLC. She is frightened of the world and doesn't yet understand human kindness, but she is being as brave as she can be and is doing an excellent job. Daisy lets us handle her easily and is an angel. Daisy will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with at least one other confident resident dog to help her confidence and be her friend. She will watch them a then start to copy what they do which will help her learn about toilet training and lead walking, it will also help her not to be worried about house sounds like the TV etc. Daisy deserves a home that will shower her with love and affection and all the things she has never had before. She has a scar on her right lower mammary gland which our vet will take a look at.
