Darling

  • Human family requirements

I could live with dog-savvy older children who give me time to settle.

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog! I've never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still figuring out the lead, but I think I'm going to enjoy gentle strolls.

  • Training needs

I'm learning to walk on a lead, and I will need a helping paw with house training.

  • Medical issues

Check out my write up! I've got a few notes but like L'Oreal, I'm worth it.

26-02-2025 This beautiful lady is Darling. She has come to us from a breeder and she is a true sweetheart, hence her name! Darling is a snuggly girl who loves her kennel friends and could happily share her new home with another kind dogs. She is confident enough that she could be homed as an only dog as long as her adopters had plenty of time to spend with her. Darling has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life including new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. She is a very gentle girl and could be homed with older, dog savvy children who would allow her time and patience to settle into her new home environment.

Darling has visited our vet for assessment and they have noted that she has hip dysplasia, most likely due to her breed. She is a little underweight at the moment, but with a good diet and plenty of nutrition she will soon start to fill out and thrive. Our vet also noted that she has cauliflower ear in her right ear, which requires no treatment. She has some concrete sores as well as some dry skin and a dry nose, which we are treating. Darlings adopters would need to be aware that these conditions would all be classed as pre-existing and so wouldn't be coverable by insurance.

Darling is the sweetest little girl who cannot wait to meet her forever family!
