19-03-25 Delilah originally came to us from a breeder as a very worried and shut down lady. She was adopted for a short amount of time and ultimately returned to us as the resident dog in the home suddenly passed and left her with nobody to lean on for assurance. Her adopter made the unfortunate decision to return her to us to ensure she goes to a home where she feels safe and loved and for Delilah, she feels safety and comfort in the form of relying on another dog. Therefore, Delilah is looking for a home with a kind resident dog that is bigger than her to lean on as she continues to learn about home life and us humans. She would also prefer an adult only and quite home as she is still a bit worried, but is growing in confidence daily. She would love a garden where she can learn about being outside and play with her friends. As she has only briefly lived in a home, she will need continued training regarding being clean in the house, and lead or harness training once she has settled in and built confidence. It is so tough for Delilah as she has had a taste of home life and is now back in the kennels. So we are hoping she isn't here for long and will find her forever home, could you be the one to provide it for her?
