23-03-25 Merlina is a very timid girl who has come to us from a breeder. Despite her worries Merlina is a gentle soul who is easy to handle but just not used to feeling kind hands touch her or hearing kind words spoken. In time and with adopters who have plenty of time and patience she will start to trust and her adopters will watch her transform into a wonderful friend. At the moment Merlina spends a lot of time cuddled up with her kennel friends so will need a calm and quiet adult only home with at least one kind resident dog to help her to settle into her new life and who will be happy to allow her to cuddle up to them if she wants to. She has never lived in a home before and so this will be quite scary at first as she learns about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. The garden may be a scary as the house at first so her adopters need to have plenty of patience and love to help her learn and be sure she is comfortable walking on a harness and lead in the garden before taking her for a walk in the outside world. Merlina has had 8 teeth extracted at the time of her spay as well as one small fatty lump removed. She also has very low grade luxating patellas, which is common in small dogs and may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle.

Can live with other dogs

This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
