26-03-25 Scamp is a stunning but very scared girl who has come to us from a breeder. She allows us to fuss her and is friendly once she is used to you but is too scared to approach us. Scamp is kenneled with another chow and relies on her for support so there must be at least one kind dog who will allow her to cuddle up to them for support and comfort if she wants to. Scamp has sore ears which our vet will check and treat as necessary. She needs a calm adult only home where she can get the TLC she needs. Scamp has never been in a home so this is going to be completely overwhelming at first and she will need owners with endless time and patience to help her learn about house training etc. At first the garden may be as scary and the inside of the home and Scamp has no idea about lead walking so this is something her adopters will need to work on once they have gained her trust. They will need to start practicing in the garden and then progress outside in quiet areas. In time and with owners who really understand her needs Scamp will slowly start to flourish and become the happy girl she should have always been. Scamp has a travel document.
Scamp is being treated for infected puncture wounds on her neck where scar tissue is forming.
