Ready had a little adventure today, a gentle, confidence-building play date. Her kennel mom set aside time to give this special girl a break from the usual routine, and Ready soaked up every bit of it in her own way. She sniffed around cautiously at first, as she always does, carefully observing before choosing her next move. That’s Ready through and through: not shy, just tuned in. She doesn’t rush, she considers, she watches, and then she acts with intention. And of course, there were treats. Liver paste, to be exact. Ready’s absolute favourite! Her eyes lit up at the smell, and before long, she was licking it straight from the tube with surprising boldness. It’s amazing how a little trust (and a little liver paste) can open a door.

Gentle Ready is Waiting for a Patient and Loving Home
Ready is a beautiful 8-month-old Pomsky who has come to us from a breeder after being unsold. She has had very little socialisation in her young life, and as a result, she can find new situations and people quite overwhelming. Right now, Ready’s natural instinct is to watch and carefully observe the world around her, choosing caution over confidence. But even in these early stages, her carers have seen the gentle, thoughtful girl she truly is.
Recently, Ready enjoyed a quiet, confidence-building playdate with her kennel carer. She took her time to explore, sniffing around cautiously before settling and showing a spark of boldness, especially when offered her favourite treat, liver paste. These precious moments remind us that with patience, love, and gentle encouragement, Ready is ready to blossom.
As she has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to her. She will need kind and patient adopters who can guide her gently through house training, lead walking, and learning how to feel safe and loved in a home environment. She has not yet worn a harness or walked on a lead, so these will need to be introduced slowly and positively. Once her confidence grows, we believe she will enjoy walks and benefit from mental and physical enrichment to help her thrive.
Ready will need a calm, quiet home with no young children, as busy environments may feel too overwhelming for her. She must be homed with at least one kind, confident resident dog who can offer companionship and help her learn that the world is a safe and happy place.
Like all young dogs, Ready would benefit from attending puppy socialisation classes.
With time, patience, and lots of love, Ready has the potential to become the most wonderful and loyal companion for the right family.
Ready's Diary

Ready is one of a litter of Pomsky puppies who have come to us from a breeder as they were unsold. Ready is a beautiful girl who hasn't had much socialisation in her short life and at the moment would much prefer to run away and hide from you rather than approach you to say hello. She is quite worried about being handled and so will need lots of love and kindness as she starts to learn that human hands can be kind. With TLC, she will start to settle in and leave her past behind her and we think she is going to blossom into a wonderful girl!
Ready will be looking for a calm and quiet home, with no young children and with adopters who can offer her lots of love and kindness. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her to settle in. Ready has never lived in a home before, so will need kindness and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life as well as new skills like house training. She has also never worn a harness or walked on a lead before and so will need a gentle introduction to this. Once she gains enough confidence, we think she will enjoy walks and would love to find an active home with adopters who will keep her both physically and mentally stimulated.
Can live with other dogs
