  • Human family requirements

I would like a calm and quiet, adult only home with no visiting children.

  • Other pet requirements

I can be an only dog or live with dogs my size or larger. I haven't met cats.

I would like a secure garden to potter around in and snooze in the sun.

  • Out and about requirements

I can walk on a lead, but can be mouthy on lead so need some training.

  • Training needs

I can display signs or resource guarding so my adopters will need to work with me.

I am being treated for sore ears and some dermatitis on my face.

31-03-25 This pretty lady is Bo and she has come to us from a home as her owners circumstances changed and they could no longer look after her. Bo can be a little wary of meeting new people, particularly men, but once she gets to know you, Bo is a very sweet girl and has the funniest little character and is a delight to be around. We have been told that Bo can display resource guarding behaviours and so for this reason she will be looking for an adult only home, with no visiting children and with adopters who have experience with dogs who have similar traits. She can also be very protective of her person and can choose to make the wrong decisions if pushed out of her comfort zone. We will continue to work on these behaviors with her while she is here.

Bo's ideal home will be with experienced adopters who are around most of the time and have a structured routine. She would like a calm and quiet home where there are very few visitors or coming and goings and with adopters with no upcoming holidays. She could easily be homed as an only dog, but has lived with dogs previously and is also sharing her kennel well with dogs here, so could be homed with dogs her size or larger.

Bo can walk well on a lead and will enjoy going for walks and adventures, but she can be mouthy on the lead, so again this is something that we, and her new adopters, will need to work on with her. She has lived in a home so we believe she is toilet trained but she may need some reminders of this. She is currently being treated for sore ears as well as some dermatitis on her face.

In the right home and with experienced adopters, Bo is going to truly thrive, so we hope she isn't waiting too long!

Can live with other dogs
