Melt is doing amazing walking on harness and she went for her first walk and she played down the big sandschool for the first time and she loved it because she could run around and have loads of fun. Melt met a smaller dog today and she was good meeting him so melt can be homed with a bigger dog or a small dog.

Gentle Melt is Ready to Bloom
Melt is a 4-year-old Cavachon who has come to us from a breeder. This lovely girl is gentle and shy, still finding her paws when it comes to trusting people and discovering the warmth of human kindness. She hasn’t lived in a home before, so her new family will need to help her learn the ropes — including housetraining, walking on a lead, and the daily routines of home life. Thankfully, she is already making fantastic progress with harness training and recently enjoyed her very first walk and a play session in the big sandschool, which she absolutely loved.
Melt arrived with some old wounds on her back legs, possibly from previous dog bites. These have been assessed and treated by our vets, and she is healing well. Her calm nature makes her easy to handle, and with time and kindness, she is already starting to show signs of trust and curiosity about the world around her.
She absolutely adores other dogs and will need a confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and provide reassurance. Melt has shown she gets along well with both big and small dogs and finds great comfort in their company. While she is still cautious around people, her social confidence is growing every day, especially when she has her canine friends beside her.
Because of her sensitive nature, Melt will need an adult-only home where life is calm and consistent. She needs a gentle environment where she can settle at her own pace, without pressure, and where she’ll be allowed to slowly blossom in her own time.
Melt is a truly sweet and soulful girl with so much love to give. With patience and understanding, she will flourish into a devoted and gentle companion who will be forever grateful for her second chance.

Melt has come to us from a breeder and is a sweet but shy girl who is still learning about human kindness. She’s easy to handle but hasn’t had much socialisation with people, so she needs time, patience, and gentle reassurance to help her feel safe and secure. Melt has come to us with old wounds, potentially from dog bites, on her back legs and this has been treated and assessed by the vets.
She absolutely loves her doggy friends and will need a confident resident dog in her new home to provide comfort and help her build confidence. Since she has never lived in a home before, she’ll need to learn house training and how to walk on a lead. However, she is currently working on harness training with her kennel mum and is building her confidence on walks daily. With continued training and encouragement she is sure to master a lead in no time! As she is still learning about human kindness she will need an adult only home that can provide her with a calm and environment while she settles in.
Melt is a truly sweet girl who just needs love, understanding, and a little time to come out of her shell. With the right home, she will flourish into the wonderful companion we know she can be.
