04-04-25 Jackson has made the long journey from Cyprus alongside his twin brother, Michael, after a rough start in life. Born in a bush and left to fend for themselves, they were thankfully rescued by Sirius Rescue and given the chance to find their forever homes. Now, Jackson is ready to start his next chapter!
Jackson is not the more confident of the two, but he is young and eager enough to build his confidence so we think he can be homed as an only dog as long as his adopters were around most of the time. Or, he could be homed with another kind resident dog and playmate who will show him the ropes of home life and be his best friend and pal! He could be homed with older, dog savvy children. He has a retained canine that will need to be continue to be monitored.
While just as active and full of potential as his brother, Jackson is the more sensitive of the two. He can be a little nervous when meeting new dogs and will need extra socialization and practice to help build his confidence. With patience, guidance, and plenty of positive experiences, he will blossom into a well-rounded companion.
Jackson would love an active home where he can go on adventures, explore the world, and continue learning. He will need puppy classes to help with his training and social skills, and he’ll also need to be neutered once he’s old enough. With consistency and encouragement, he’ll thrive and become a fantastic lifelong friend.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal pup who just needs a little extra confidence-boosting, Jackson could be the perfect match.
