Royal

05-04-25 Royal is a very scared boy who has come to us from a breeder. She is especially scared when it comes to being touched by us humans but when you get him in the back of the kennel he will allow you to gently stroke him but he is uncomfortable with this. At the moment Royal could possibly make the wrong decision if handled incorrectly but this is purely through fear and he is already starting to make improvements. He will actually get excited to see his kennel run in the mornings and will wag his tail but he’s not sure how to interact with her yet. Royal has never lived in a home so this is going to be completely overwhelming at first and he will definitely need at least one other dog in the home to help his confidence. This will help him with house training and lead walking but these are things that are going to take him time to learn as the garden may be as scary as the home at first. Royal will need a very calm and quiet home with no children either living there or visiting and adopters who have lots of experience with scared dogs. We think he’ll come out of his shell a lot more over time but Royal needs a lot of TLC, time and patience.
