  • Human family requirements

I can live with dog-savvy teenagers who understand my needs.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe but I haven’t met cats yet so I'm not sure

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

Walks are too scary for me yet, maybe some slow garden sniffs will be a good start.

  • Training needs

I need to learn lead training and house manners when I am settled into my new home.

  • Medical issues

I’m fully vaccinated and spayed and have had one tooth removed.

08-04-25 Mushroom is a lovely little lady who has come to us from a breeder and is now on the search for a kind, patient forever home where she can finally start her new life. Although she is a little timid at the moment, Mushroom is clearly trying her very best to be brave. She’ll accept a gentle chin scratch and happily take tasty treats from your hand, little signs that this sweet girl is already starting to trust.

You can see in her eyes how friendly she truly wants to be, even if she still keeps a bit of distance for now. Because of this, we are looking for a home with at least one kind, confident resident dog who can help guide her and show her how wonderful life in a home can be.

Mushroom has never lived in a home before, so she will need to learn about housetraining and walking on a lead. She will also need gentle encouragement as she gains confidence in her new surroundings. She could live with older, dog savvy teenagers who understand that she’ll need time, space, and lots of reassurance as she adjusts.

This girl is already being so brave here with us, and we truly can’t wait to see the progress she’ll make in a loving, supportive home. With time, patience, and another friendly dog by her side, Mushroom will blossom into the happy, affectionate companion we know she’s meant to be.

Mushroom has had one tooth removed at the time of her spay.
