Berry is a wonderful little lady who came to us from a breeder ready to find her forever home. She was quite worried when she first arrived with us, but over the last few weeks her confidence has sky rocketed! She is now an incredibly happy girl who loves having a fuss and is just the most loving dog you could wish to meet.

She has learned all about walking on a lead and harness and is taking it all in her stride and enjoying going for walks. She has met the rescues resident cats while she has been on her travels and was fine with them, so we would consider homing her with dog savvy cats.

Berry is a very playful girl who loves to play with her kennel friends and would love to have another kind and playful resident dog in her new home to be her friend. She could also be homed with older, dog savvy children.

Berry has never lived in a home before, but she is now in a foster home where she is learning all about home life for the first time ever. Her adopters will need to be kind and understanding with her as she continues to adjust to home life and learns all about new skills like house training.

Berry has a beautiful soul, and with patience, love, and understanding, she will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. She just needs someone willing to show her what love truly means.

She had a hernia repaired at the time of her spay and has also received treatment for a ear infection

Berry's Diary

  • Berry has been with us for a couple of weeks now and her confidence has sky rocketed in that time. She’s no longer shy or timid, but instead an incredibly happy and loving little girl. She’s learnt that human hands can be kind, and that having a fuss is maybe the best thing in the whole world .. minus food of course!! She’s also learnt how to walk on a harness, and she’s met cats nicely too.

Berry can now be homed with dog savvy, older children, as long as they are sensible and respectful of her space. We’ve also discovered she is extremely playful and loves zooming around the yard with her kennel friends, and playing with toys too .. so a playful resident dog to match her energy would be perfect! She may be a bit overwhelmed and nervous at first as she’s never been in a home before, but we don’t think it will take her too long to settle as long as she’s given lots of reassurance and love.

  • Berry is a worried little lady who has come to us from a breeder and is only just beginning to discover the world beyond the life she’s known. Everything is new and overwhelming for her at the moment, and she is in real need of some TLC. Berry is learning how to be brave in her new surroundings and will need a calm, patient home where she can take her time to settle. She has never lived in a home before, so will need kind adopters who can gently help her learn all about house training and walking on a lead. At the moment, lead walks may feel too scary, so quiet time and gentle sniffs around the garden will be a good place to start.

Berry will need at least one kind and confident resident dog who can be her role model and offer her comfort as she finds her paws. With the support of a canine friend and a loving family, Berry has every chance to grow in confidence and begin to enjoy life. Berry has a beautiful soul, and with patience, love, and understanding, she will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. She just needs someone willing to show her what love truly means.
