Rumour - A Very Special Home Needed

Rumour is a stunning, gentle 15-hand cob who has won all our hearts. Around 12 years old, he is very docile and kind but has had little formal riding training. He is backed and will hack out, but he can scare easily and needs more education, particularly around moving away from leg pressure.

We are looking for a very special home for him.

Please do not apply unless you meet the following:

• You have your own secure premises where you live.
• Your land is dry (not boggy).
• He will have at least one other equine companion.

Rumour loves attention. He is stabled at night and turned out during the day, enjoys extensive grooming, and adores cuddles. He particularly loves spending time with mares and needs an equine friend he can bond with.

He cannot go as a field ornament, he needs a home where he will be loved, given companionship, and continue to grow in confidence. Rumour also requires regular farrier attention every six weeks, as he has very large feet that must be carefully maintained.

Due to his loving and sensitive nature, Rumour would make a wonderful therapy horse. However, his safety and happiness are our top priorities, he has experienced sadness in his past, and now deserves only the very best: a future filled with comfort, friendship, and kindness.

Please understand that we do not post pictures at this stage, as it leads to unsuitable enquiries and pressure to lower our standards for him. We are looking for the right fit - nothing less.
