Jessie

01-06-25 Beautiful Jessie has sadly come into our care through no fault of her own as her owner is being made homeless and, with no other options, made the heartbreaking decision to part with her. Understandably, Jessie is a very sad girl right now and is feeling overwhelmed by the sudden change in her world. We are desperate to find her a safe and loving forever home where she can begin to feel secure and happy again.

Jessie is a super sweet girl with a gentle nature. She is happy to be handled and seems to take comfort in calm, kind human company. We’ve been told she is litter box trained, but unfortunately, we don’t have much more background information about her past. What we do know is that she is a cat with so much love to give and who truly deserves a second chance. Jessie has already discovered out soft and cosy cat bed swings and loves to hide out having a snooze in them!

Jessie could be homed as an indoor only cat, but if her new family had access to a secure catio, this would be a wonderful way for her to enjoy the outside world safely. We would also consider homing her to a home where she could have outdoor access, providing it is in a very quiet area well away from any main roads to ensure her safety and her adopters would need to keep her inside for at least a few weeks until she has settled and bonded.

Jessie would be very happy as the only pet in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. However, if her adopters have other animals, slow and careful introductions would be essential to make sure everyone feels comfortable and secure.

This lovely girl has been through a big upheaval and just needs a quiet, understanding home where she can settle in her own time and start to feel like herself again. She’s ready to begin her next chapter, all she needs is someone to open their heart and home to her.

Jessie has had a little bit of an upset stomach since her arrival with us and is currently being treated for this.
