ROCKET WOULD LIKE TO BE HOMED WITH POPPY
07-06-25 Rocket has come to us from a home alongside his friend Poppy as their owner sadly could no longer give them the time and attention they deserve. We are looking to home them as a pair.
Rocket is a beautiful Bengal cross boy who is currently feeling quite overwhelmed by all the recent changes in his world. He’s a sensitive soul, but underneath the uncertainty is a gentle, affectionate cat who just needs time and patience. If you sit with him quietly, he’ll slowly begin to trust you, accepting soft fusses and starting to show his sweet, loving nature.
Rocket would love a calm and quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace and feel safe. We are told that he is litter box trained, though he may need a few gentle reminders while he settles into his new home. We’ve been told that Rocket isn’t keen on dogs, so he cannot be homed with dogs.
Rocket has always had access to the outdoors, so we’re looking for a home in a safe, quiet area well away from busy roads, where he can eventually enjoy exploring once he’s fully settled and formed a bond with his adopter. He must be kept indoors for the first few weeks to allow him time to adjust. If he were to be homed as an indoor only cat, access to a secure catio would be essential for him.
As a Bengal cross, Rocket is a very intelligent boy who will need lots of enrichment and activity to keep his mental and physical needs met. Puzzle toys, climbing spaces, and interactive play sessions will be important parts of his daily life. For this reason, we strongly recommend that potential adopters do some research into Bengal traits and needs before applying.
Rocket is such a special boy, and in the right home, he will flourish.
