15-09-21 Flounder is a beautiful kitten who is looking for a loving home along with the rest of his litter and his Mum, who was taken in by a kind lady when she saw that she was trying to have kittens outside. She contacted the rescue when the kittens were a few days old and we went to collect this lovely little family and they went to our fosterer who has raised them in a family home with older children and dogs. The kittens are beautiful, playful and full of mischief! Their Mum has done a wonderful job raising them and it is now time for them to fly the nest.
Flounder is the only boy in the litter and he loves to play rough and tumble and chase his sisters around. He is quite independent and is content to play with his toys whilst he siblings mill around us demanding attention.
He is going to make a great addition to any lucky family
He will need to be kept inside until at least after he is neutered and this needs to be done early as cats mature very quickly. If introduced to going outside this needs to be done carefully and safely or he could happily be a housecat.
Flounder has a microchip but will need vaccinating and neutering by his owners
The minimum donation fee for Flounder is £60
All our cats and kittens are micro chipped, wormed.
Kittens need vaccinating by their adopter at the age of 9 weeks.
Adult cats are spayed/neutered and have had at least one vaccination but if your adopt a kitten you will need to complete a spay/neuter agreement confirming you will your kitten spayed/neutered before it is 4 months old.
If you are interested in adoption please complete the application form
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs. However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.
