03-03-22 Very sadly Bumble Bee has been returned 2½ years after she was adopted as her owners  were unable to keep her due to the fact they have had a baby and despite them trying to get Bumble Bee to accept him she is not happy around children. Bumble Bee needs a very special and experienced home. She has always been snappy towards other dogs and strangers and but if people ingore her and allow her to come to them she is fine.
With people she loves Bumble is a very loving dog but is extremely jealous when she is not getting all of the attention so she needs to be the only animal in the home and cannot live anywhere where there are children on visiting children. She will need an experienced home with someone who has previous experience of dogs like Bumble Bee.
When she was first with us Bumble had successul nasal surgery to help her breathing and she has a large skin fold covering tail which is not docked but deformed and she can be sensitive around this area.  Bumble is prescribed apoquel tablets and these are required for life to treat her skin itching. Her owners had allergy tests carried out and she is fed grain free food but despite this she still needs the medication as she will scratch her self raw without them.

05-04-22 UPDATE

Bumblebee is still waiting to find her happy ever after …
In the meantime she’s watching the world go by, hoping someone will stop by her kennel for some snuggles. She is such a little sweetheart of a dog when she knows you (just look at the love in her eyes), she just has some trust issues is all. I can’t say I blame her though.
Bumblebee is very sweet but needs an experienced home. No children and she needs to be the only dog as she loves all the attention. She needs patience and confidence and a loving home that will provide the right support she needs.
I think I speak for all the staff at MT when I say I REALLY hope she finds her forever home soon. Someone please just give this angel a chance!

26-04-22 UPDATE

Bumble Bee is looking for an extremely special home. She absolutely loves the people she knows once she has bonded with them and is a wonderful girl. All she wants is someone who has lots of time to spend with her and who will allow her to sit on their knee and watch TV with them. She will need a calm and quiet home that doesn't have many visitors coming and going and she would like to homed as an only dog.

30-04-22 UPDATE

Bumble Bees previous owners wanted to show just how adorable, loving and playful she was with them. As you can see, she spent a lot of her time belly up! She loves walks in the forest or on the beach, chilling on the doorstep in the sun (she is a sun worshipper!) chasing bubbles.  In the right home Bumble Bee will the most faithful friend so if you have the home she needs please put in an application.

08-05-22 UPDATE

I work and foster for many tears and I work in the area Bumblebee's kennel is . I have to say I can’t believe she is still with us.  She is the most loving girl you can meet . Once she knows you Bumblebee will be a friend for life. She comes running up to you in kennel jumps up on to your lap for nothing more than hugs and kisses . She spends her day looking out her kennel hoping that someone will see her as the staff at many tears see her.
Today I took my husband up to see bumblebee and this was the first time they met. He went and sat in her kennel and she ran up to him and got on his lap. She even kissed him on face . She sat on his lap and turned her body round so he could stroke her belly. We took her for a walk and she just loves being out smelling and rolling on her back for a belly rub .
We took bumblebee home for a change of scenery today for her and see how she is with other dogs.  As I have 9 dogs we took introducing slowly to our dogs as it may be too much and overwhelming for her for all 9 at once. She was ok with them smelling her and going up to her but once they got in for face she did tell them off. We had her on lead and once introduced my dogs didn’t care and walked off  .She started to relax that the other dogs weren't in her face.
We took her around our yard and she wasn’t bothered by the sheep, horses ( was behind fencing) She was interested in watching the chickens but didn’t react when they came up to front were she was.
She looked at the cats but didn’t seem interested just walked away from area they were.
Bumblebee could go with another very calm older dog that’s not going be in her face or not got too much energy around her. Will need experience human that can read her before she gets overwhelmed with another dog in her face and tell her no at the right moment  or move her away .
Bumblebee does love her food and think if another dog walk pass she won’t be happy about it . So will need to be Fed separate.
I think bumblebee would be much happier as only dog and someone that’s home most the day.  she just loves sitting on your lap or by you while  you work from home. She has a lot of love to give.
Overall if your looking for
* A companion for yourself
* She been in a home before , and is kennel clean through the day. (House trained)
* Walk nicely on a Harness,
* She travels well in car , happy to sit there .
* very sweet , happy girl with lots of love to give .

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

All dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
