12-11-20 Adina is a beautiful cross breed girl who has travelled all the way from Bosnia to find safety. Her initial travel plans via another rescue did not quite go to plan, so we stepped in to help this lovely girl and she is now in a foster home receiving all the love and attention she deserves. Adina has only got three legs and was originally found on a building site, with part of her front leg hanging off and 3 young puppies at her feet. Her puppies all came down with parvovirus and sadly one didn't make it. Poor Adina is very scared and had no security or loving family in Bosnia and so she is now here in the UK and looking for a loving home.
Adina is a very worried girl who does not enjoy human interaction as yet and will hide away. She is starting to learn housetraining already but is going to need an adult home that is very experienced with frightened dogs. She will need a secure garden with high fencing.
She has a passport.

30-12-20 UPDATE

Sweet Adina has been with me a couple of months now, at first she was terrified and hid in her crate, only coming out to go outside for the toilet. Now she is a different girl, no more crate, she is now a couch potato, will take a treat from me, gets excited to see me, tail wagging and doing a little dance. She is still to scared to be touched, but we are working on this slowly. Adina will need a very special home that has lots of experience of scared dogs. This beautiful girl has had such a hard start in life, she deserve a 5 star home where she can learn to shine brightly in her own time. She needs a calm laid back home, with another laid back dog. No children as they would scare her. You will need lots of tissues, as you cant help but cry happy tears when see her trust you just a little bit more each week.

17-04-21 UPDATE
Adina is still a scared girl, but trusts me enough now to stroke her, she loves a good bottom rub.
This is a girl that can't be rushed, so any home needs to be very patient with her, but once she does start to trust, she really is the sweetest girl.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
