If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-05-2021 Lucas is a super playful boy with other dogs but wary of humans and will need a home with another playful and confident dog to be his friend and help him adjust to his new life. Lucas has found his way here from Romania and is finding his new surroundings a little scary at the moment but we think in a little time he will adjust and settle.   Lucus will need an adult only home where he is given a chance to settle and learn to trust.  He will need to learn about house training and lead walking but these will come with time, love and patience.

15-06-21 UPDATE

Lucas is a superstar in the making. He can be stubborn and headstrong but also be very affectionate and gentle. Lead walking is progressing well when in the company of another dog, but is a little unsure as yet to venture far when alone with his handler. Lucas deserves to be in a home as opposed to spending any more time in kennels.

18-07-21 UPDATE

Lucas is a lovely boy who is very playful and energetic. He walks well on the lead. He likes to have his back scratched and is a curious boy if unsure of new things at first. With a nice family to call his own Lucas will become an amazing friend for life.
When I said hello to him in the kennel he wanted to play and was trying to steal the towel I brought in with me, he even tried to gently steal the phone from my hand as if I was so interested in it maybe it was work having! But after a while, he settled and lay down next to me. He is a truly amazing dog and will make any home that much warmer.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
