If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

18-06-2021 Olga was found in a factory yard in Romania.  She is a shy and sensitive girl but is fine to handle - she just needs time to settle and get used to us.  Olga will need a home with at least one other dog to help her confidence and who she can watch and copy which will help her learn about things like house training and lead walking.   She is a young girl and all these things will come with time and patience.  If you have an abundance of those along with a heap of love please put in your application for,.  Olga has a passport.

I met Olga for the first time last week. From her pictures, I expected a shy, timid, small collie sized dog. She has come a long way since her early pictures, both in growth and confidence. It was too hot to walk so we met indoors and an affectionate, happy, playful girl came bounding towards me to say hello. I had brought a ball with me and it can be a bit hit or miss as to whether a dog will play but Olga and I had great fun as she chased the ball around the enclosure. We then chilled out with treats and cuddles before she had to go back to her kennel. I can't understand why this lovely girl is still waiting for her forever home as she is a beauty inside and out.

My second walk of the morning was with Olga. I had met her before to play but not to walk. She is a little timid but soon let me stroke her and we headed off on our walk. Olga walks beautifully on the lead and is a very clever girl. I took a biscuit out from my right pocket for her and her eyes were on that pocket, just in case, for the rest of the walk. She loves treats. We passed some people and houses and I noticed she has a curious side to her and likes to sit down and watch anything or anyone she finds interesting. Then we turned the corner and a man in a yellow vest was there chopping some branches off a tree. She wanted to meet him and sat down and watched as he worked. We then walked a little further and met another dog and man who was carrying out some repair work to his porch and making a bit of a noise. This didn't bother Olga one bit and she even let him come over to say hello to her. She doesn't like strangers to fuss her initially but will soon come around. We headed back to the centre then and she couldn't wait to tell Arrow, her kennel BFF, how brave she had been and that there was nothing for him to be scared of out there. Olga is a beautiful, clever and inquisitive dog who just needs a chance and someone else to see her as I do

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
